How to fix Microsoft Edge Browser not responding?

Is your Microsoft Edge in your computer is not responding, then Try these Following methods to diagnose the issue and Check if issue persists.

Method 1:

Run the Windows apps trouble-shooter and check if it helps.

Method 2:

Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

  1. Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow.

If the issue still exists, try the next Step.

Method 3:

You can also check the same issue with the new user account.

If you don’t have Another User account, then try these steps to create a new user account.

  1. Press Windows key + I, Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
  2. Select Add an Account.
  3. Enter a user name and Click Next.
  4. Then Click on Finish.
  5. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
  6. Check if issue persists.
